i don't know how many of you PC'ers out there would love to have that uber-cool tray that the Mac's have... and now you can.

head over to Stardock and download ObjectDock. it is free, small, and very very nice in a useless, just plain cool way. you can go to WinCustomize from there and pick up some personal icons and docklets (apps that work within ObjectDock).

check it out. it's fun and i have it set as my taskbar in one of my rigs.

frankly, it inspired me to completely redo one of my rigs... all of the icons were replaced with some amazing ones i found, ran windowblinds, and this objectdock as well.
looks sweetass now.

*L* I find it very amusing the amount of people who bash on Macs then steal the cool parts and tout them.

THIS IS NOT ROGER. I would like to make this clear. I'm talking about no one on the forums. It's just a mentality I've seen. Mac bashing while secretly longing for Mac products. I swear to god I saw someone with an Apple Sucks icon going on about how much he loved his iPod.

StarDock and stuff does look way cool and I might want to play around with it. Do you have the pay version?

stardock has a lot of products which it charges for, although as far as i know, objectdock is not one of them. it is free for use.

as for your comments about pc'ers secretly wanting macs, i've seen it too... actually from both sides. i think it's one of the most ridiculous long-standing battles i've ever seen. they're computers (and accessories), for crying out loud. not much sense in arguing about them.

i personally think apple products are fantastic. their only real limitation is in the available software. especially with the G5, they are entering into a brand new age of processing power.

oh, and the price. that is a major limitation. i believe a lot more people would buy macs if they were not so expensive.

you can relate it kind of to guys secretly liking to listen to Justin Timberlake and when their friends come around stick a Metallica CD and call JT a fag.

I've seen it a million times.
