well, my radeon 9600xt should be here by 430, and since im in the mood to make it look cool/OC it, ive been looking into cooling for it. theres so many things like the Tt orbs and whatnot, and its all confusing to me, thats a whole new ball park for me. any info would be good.

Let me recommend the following:

Have it myself, and it simply kicks ass!
Currently clocked my Radeon 9700 nonPro to 399/300 - stock is 276/270 - so that is good!
Getting heatsinks for the RAM soon so will hopefully be able to clock the memory a bit more :)
The installation was quite easy...once I found out that they had shipped the package with bracket clip turning the wrong way - see this link >

Once I turned it the right way, fastening the heatsink on the card was a breeze :)
