|
|
I've got a problem with my computer. I don't remember installing anything in the past couple of days... anyways, everytime I start the computer it starts with the lowest possible resoulution (less than 800x600) and I have to change it everytime back to what it was.
Does anyone know what could cause this so I don't have to resort to system restore.. even though my restore point is from two days ago before it happened.
thanks for the replies in advance _________________ ABIT IC7 MAX 3, Corsair PC4000 Pro, P4 2.6C @3.23 GHz 1:1, 2.5-4-4-7, 2 WD Raptors in RAID 0 |

Unistall everything and then reinstall?
Including the hydravision software, control box, and everthing else?
Or just reinstall over the existing drivers? _________________ ABIT IC7 MAX 3, Corsair PC4000 Pro, P4 2.6C @3.23 GHz 1:1, 2.5-4-4-7, 2 WD Raptors in RAID 0 |

just the video driver, then go into windows and download the latest one from your video card manufacture site. _________________ still the same old computer tweaker..

did you maybe play a game on your system that you'd previously installed but hadn't tried out yet... they are notorious for screwing with your video drivers.
like they said, uninstall and reinstall... i'd say everything, not just the drivers themselves. another utility that controls the settings could be corrupted as well. _________________ i'm the fool, he's the fanboy. together we are Fanboy and Fool... Tweaknews Reviewers |

| Back up your current driver first just in case the new driver has complications. |
