cant find a folder after i hid it

well i was messing with my folder options and i accidentally hit the hide folder and stuff not realizing what i was doing... with my folder FOR EVERYTHING... and nowi cant find it or access it... can anyone help i have win xp Pro

Folder options, View, Files and Folders, Hidden Files and Folders, click the Show hidden files and folders radio button.

You can't find a folder that is on the desktop. Am I stupid, or am I missing an important piece of info, here?

it was on the desktop then i placed the folder as hidden and now i cant find it

Oh, it was on the desktop. Did you go into windows explorer, and use the menu item, Tools, Folder options, and then the path I listed above?
