Is there a hardware difference (in the computer) between USB v1.1 and v2.0? I ask because a reference to the USB driver in Win2K, SP4, indicates that the original v1.1 driver can be replaced with v2.0... that seems logical unless hardware would need to be changed also.

Thanks.

Thanks Sham. I'd been under the impression that a USB 2.0 device would not work on a machine with a 1.1 controller. The Xbit review indicates otherwise.

Since there is alrady a topic posted about this, I would like to ask a question on my own. When I plug the quick drive to my computer, it says " a high speed USB device is plugged into a non-high speed USB hub ..." and "... there is no high-speed host controller...". How can I get this high speed host controller?

You have to have a hub that is USB 2.0 compatible.
