I received a beautiful NZXT Phantom case, and couldn't wait 'til I had sufficient funds for a proper build, so I plugged in the guts from a retired Gateway computer (circa 2004).
P-4 3GHz 1-core Hyper threaded
3GB DDR-2700 ram
200 GB HDD
This is just a placeholder, and I use as a HTPC.
Looks kinda like a storm trooper.
I am still unsure what to build, It depends on what I see when bulldozer is released, and how it compares to the Z68 chipset. |
