I have the Cooler Master V8 cooling solution as a cooler to me processor, it works but the instructions mention adding a speed controller to the back on the computer, this speed controller is shown being unscrewed and then screwed back in. Well in reality it does neither not allowing me to attach it to the back of my computer. Does anyone have any ideas on how to handle this?

You should have gotten an expansion bay cover with a hole in it to mount the speed controller into, allowing it to be mounted at the rear of your case. Check out the Tweaknews review here: http://www.tweaknews.net/reviews/cooler_master_v8/

The expansion bay with a hole in it I received, the hole is too small for the controller but I will check out the link to be safe

You must pull the knob off and then run the shaft of the controller through the hole in the plate and replace the knob and you can then install in the case. Do you have the manual? It explains it pretty well.

I forgot to tell you that there's a nut behind the knob that will secure the controller to the plate.

Thank you, the instructions just showed a picture and said, "Assemble the fan speed controller" this is it and it is quite confusing
