I want to buy an additional battery for my laptop and am wondering whether it's ok to buy the cheaper one as opposed to the official hp one. Here is the link to the hp battery:

http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/KS526AA;HHOJSID=l5S1MhLflSW1PVGGhhw8f522zGK291Z6PXp28hYXKnDDdccxQqMT!-1959535398

Here is the link to the cheaper version:

Are there any problems with this? Can it do something to my laptop?
Thanks!

Those are both HP batteries. The top link is a 12 cell extended battery, the bottom link is a six cell regular battery.

Get whichever you like, if the stock battery life has always been good for you, the 6 cell will be fine.

I buy all of my laptop batteries from ebay. They all come from the same factory anyways and they are super cheap.

Never had a problem yet with them.
