Before I get to far here are my spec before I install The H50.
GA-MA-790X-UD4P
AMD 7850 Black EditionX2 @2.8 (stock fan)
Power Supply Antec EW 750
Case Antec 900 II
XFX HD4850 (ATI)
2X2GB Super Talent and 2x1GB Super Talent Mem. moduals (6400)
Total mem 6GB
LG HL-DT-ST DVD/CD Burnner
Alpine 3 1/2 Floppy
Hitachi HDP725025GLA380 250Gb, 2 partions, SATA
Western digital WD2500AAJS-00B4A0 250Gb 2 partions, SATA
(each HD is partioned in half)
Network adapters Realtec PCIE GBE AND 1394 NET ADAPTER 2ea. (on mobo)
Ati High Definition Audio on Graphics card
Creative SB Audigy 2
All drivers are up to date:
Bios for mobo: F9 (newest bios)
OS Windows XP Pro on my WD drive, Windows XP 64 pro on my Hitachi drive.
Both are full versions.
My question is: Has any one else use this Cooler on this mobo or with something close to this mobo in design. And has someone done this using the same case that I have (Antec 900II). |

| Well, I've used the H50 on a couple of mobos, both Intel and AMD. And in a couple of chassis', but not the Antec. What, specifically are you needing to know about? |

Shouldn't be any issues mounting it, if that's the concern. I will say that if you're looking for a good temp drop, usually the reason water cooling is used, this isn't the cooler for you. It's only marginally better than a Thermalright air cooler. If you're just looking for relative quiet in an affordable package, go for it. But if you're expecting to overclock heavily, it ain't gonna be what you want. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
