So here is the question... i am been doing my homework on cases, and cases are a hard think to pick out... i think i have narrowed it down:
Thermaltake Armor Full ( expensive)
Thermaltake Armor Jr. ( reallly really like)
Thermaltake Xaser - not so sure
Thermalttake Damier -
@ this point i dont think i want a window - unless there isnt a price difference then i mite consider it!!!
thanks... |

If money is an issue then go for the Jr, if not go for the armor. The window shouldn't add to the cost and even if it does, not by much.
FnF should be able to tell you more about these cases. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock

I've always loved the armor and the shark. Actually, if i could have a shark window, on and armor case....id be in heaven.
Ive handled them in the past, but never built one. THey feel like a great case at glance. _________________

I'd bite the bullet and go for the full size Armor. It's not that much more expensive than the Jr, and you'll really appreciate the extra room, massive amounts of bays, and great cooling. I have the Kandalf, which is essentially the same case with a different front door........

Joe has the Armor Jr, maybe he can chime in.............or you can just read his review in the review section.

Could you elaborate a bit more on your pump/res issue? For instance, why does the graphics card prevent installation? What is the card interfering with?
As to the rear panel issue, this is not uncommon in a case with an aluminum backplane. As Nathan said, if your board is installed properly you should be fine.

| the motherboard is installed properly, exactly where the stand off for an atx board are and there's a gap of a few mm between the end of the board and the back of the case, the issue with the reservoir and pump is that when installed via the fartherst holes my graphics card is tight against the pump and the tubing is kinked |

You may have to move the pump/res elsewhere. Maybe a couple of open 5.25" bays in the front? Haven't been in the Kandalf for a while, but you should be able to find a place for the pump/res unit.
Good Luck! |

I was unable to get all four holes in the pump to line up with the holes in the bottom of the LCS, so I just used two screws and mounted it as far forward as I could. There should be enough room for the graphics card, unless it's extremely long.
There is no other place to mount the pump, as the bottom of the case in the drive bays is taken up with the hoses from the radiator, and cuttting the zip tie and moving the hoses forward would mean the front door wouldn't close properly. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
