You can also find these netbooks with Linux. I have on with Linux and I bought my wife one with WindowsXP. My wife can lay her Nancy Drew Mystery games on hers, so she's happy. Ours also have built in WiFi which is nice.

At first when I mention netbooks to people that don't know about them, they cringe at the small screen size.

But after using it for a day and carrying it around with them all over the house they quickly realise how nice it is to have a small computer that doesn't weigh 6 lbs.

The screen size soon becomes a moot point.
