hey guys, i know i havn't been on in about 3 years and all, but i figgured you guys might have an idea on this.
it's an eee pc (i believe its the 9-incher, linux model) with a built-in wecam (1.3 megapixel, should be pretty awesome considering the size of the laptop). i believe the laptop sees the actual camera, device manager says it has the drivers, butt when she goes to actually use it in MSN,it says it can't see a camera. i'm coming up blank on this, just thought you guys might have some ideas as to the cause. _________________ ÿ (0255) 愛

Probably a Linux driver issue wil MSN. MSN is even finicky under Windows, depending on the camera. I would contact Asus to see if there's an updated driver, let them figure it out. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

Googler update...
The Linux version of the EeePc seems to come out of the box with the camera disabled in the BIOS. It must be enabled to function.
