I bought the following TV tuner a while back and installed it....

http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductReview.aspx?Item=N82E16815100014&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&SelectedRating=-1&PurchaseMark=&VideoOnlyMark=False&Page=5

Anyways, I installed the drivers, but I don't know how to use this thing. I've read reviews and all that. Is there some freeware or payware software I can download to utilize the TV tuner card. I have my coaxial cable from the wall hooked up to the card and I'd like to watch TV on my computer. I'm not familiar with this at all and there aren't very good instructions.

Thanks

It doesn't....the manual says to open xp media center. In the MCE mode, select settings -> TV and then follow the on screen instructions. I'm assuming this is for XP media center edition. There has got to be a way I can get this thing to work on XP though.

I'm having some issues getting this to work. I haven't had a lot of time to configure it, but when I first started the program, I didn't know which options to choose and there was a lot of them. Shouldn't it just recognize that I have a coaxial cable connected via my tv tuner? It just seems really complicated. Sorry for the basic questions but I don't have much experience with tv tuners and that type of stuff. I had actually thought of buying a computer monitor with coaxial or digital inputs so I could just switch over . but I like the idea of having the tv in a window on the computer and be able to multitask. If I bought an ATI tuner card, would the configuration be easier than this? I had an ATI AIW 9800 a while ago and it was easy to setup...not like this.
THanks,
