im thinking of getting a complete powerhouse and i was leaning twards some dual xeons. I dont know weather to go with 2 E5335s at 3.2ghz and get a v8 or get 2 5060s at 2ghz and stick to just quad. what is better

Best thing to do is search for reviews on both options. I would say the quad might be a better option with a dual socket mobo so you can throw in another quad later on down the line if needs be

I would stick with Core 2 Duos for a desktop rig.

IF you're going to go overboard....

how about an ASUS DSBF-D dual 771mobo and a pair of X5365 Clovertown processors. Now you got 8 cores going. Very Happy Very Happy

Meets the "complete powerhouse" standard in my book.
