Hi Nathan,

Thank you for a fantastic review of the Z-5500. You really convinced me into buying this speaker system :)

I've never posted here before, but I need your help. I have a completely standard MacBook with a combined optical digital/headphone out, combined optical digital/audio line in, microphone and built in speakers.

Do I need anything more to connect the Z-5500 to my MacBook?

The optical connection out to the system is all you will need.
