Im thinking i may justs scrap my idea to replace Mobo and processor by buying a whole new system...

Rough Spec of new system...

1 x Western Digital 250GB / 7200 rpm / 16MB Buffer / Serial ATA II
1 x JSP-TECH N-100C ATX MIDI TOWER / Silver / with EZCool 400W PS
1 x AMD Athlon 64 4200+ Dual Core / 2.2GHz / 1MB Cache / Socket AM2 / 65W / Tray
1 x Gigabyte GA-M51GM-S2G AMD2 Platform / AMD Athlon™64/ Sempron / Dual Channel DDR2 800 memory
2 x Corsair 512MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory

Any ideas or suggestions of better parts? Also need a fairly decent graphics card cause im liking my civilization IV at the moment so any suggestions for not too much money.

Current system cost $534 don't want to go above $650 but if need be i will push to $750

You are better off going intel Core 2 Duo.

I hear the allendale core's will tweak

very nicely...and they are a reasonable priced alternative.

See i live in Israel which is relatively cheap for computer components and stuff but the Intel stuff is just way out my budget.

This new computer is an upgrade and replacement for my old machine...which will become a server Very Happy
