I swear I didn't make this up...
Last night, I noticed my 120mm exhaust fan was wobbly, so I tapped (lightly) on the back of my comp. It fell off it's post and hit the fan in my zalman CPU cooling unit. It broke a blade off of the zalman fan, so now my CPU fan is off-balanced!!!
What should I do? Can it function that way? I think I'm going to replace it.. but I was wondering how urgent of a problem this is...
With that being said, I think my computer is telling me that it's time to build a new computer.... so..... recommend away!!!! I think I'm going pretty no-holds-barred on this computer, because I'm going to include my tax return as part of the funding.
Let your imagination run wild!!! (a.k.a., it's been a long time since I've done any hardware reviews, so I'm out of the game as to the latest and greatest...) _________________ 91K SIGNATURE IS NOT ALLOWED.

| You'll need to get that Zalman fan off of your mobo ASAFP. The out-of-balance situation will set up potentially damaging vibrations throughout your case. I don't know what HSF you have, but some of those fans can be replaced with modded case fans. I'll try to find a linky. |

I was wondering how to replace it... I tried to get the fan off the post, but I couldn't.
The 120mm fan is fine now.. I think..
But yeah, I understand about the vibrations... it's working, but I can definately tell something is wrong. _________________ 91K SIGNATURE IS NOT ALLOWED.
