Crazy problem

Ok so i started having sound problems, so i decided being the sound engineer i am to troubleshoot it. To start off with i eliminated the soundcard (sound blaster live 5.1 Digital) but when i tried to reinstall said sound card i started having major issues...to start off i couldnt get the drivers anywhere eventually i managed to lay my hands on the drivers but new problem apparently i dont have a creative sound card.

I do have the original disc but theres a problem, it's in my parents house....in scotland.....

On the plus note i found out it wasnt the soundcard it was the speakers....which have now been replaced after blowing up yesterday. I am now a proud owner of creative inspire M2600.

So...anyone who has a soundblaster live 5.1 digital card with original drivers could you please help me and send me them...or if you know where they are on the vast interweb point me in there direction.

Go to the creative website and search for it. You probably downloaded the drivers for the wrong soundblaster live card, there are several variants. Have a look on your card and see which one you have.

Tried all the live drivers from creative even did a search with the model number still nae joy i really wanna hook my new speakers to the card cause then i get bass control with the onboard one i have none

so i tried to run another set up file from the file i downloaded and boom it worked. So if any one else is having bother with there soundblaster live 5.1 card run CTZAPXX.exe
