Earthquake!!! What a way to wake Up!

At 2:22AM EST our household was woke up with the rumble and shaking of an Earthquake here in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

Magnitude: 4.1

The best way to describe it is thunder that rattles the heck out of your house. Kinda like if you live close to a highway and passing trucks rattle your house.

Kinda interesting seeing I am a Geologist......Yes, I am a bonified Geologist folks.

Bet a lot of you didn't know that did you.

I spent most of my life in Southern California, so a little shaking never bothered me. In fact, I would get pissed if I slept through one.....like "DANG, I missed another one".

the bigger ones can be a little disturbing, but I never lost property due ta an earthquake.

From what I am hearing, a mine blast is what might have caused the movement.
