Hi, as my signature shows, I have an ASUS M.Board A8N32 SLi -Deluxe and would like to know if this particular motherboard could be fitted with DDR2 Ram ? I currently use normal DDR Ram but was curious to know if I could use DDR2 with this model of M.Board as no manual mentions it.
Thanks! _________________ A8N32 SLi -Deluxe

if your board takes DDR...then it wont take DDR2.
There were only a few boards made that could handle both, and from what i know, they didnt catch on. _________________

Yeah, like TH said, the pinout is different and so is the slot. The boards that suppot both types are cheap brands tying to get sales by offering a "cheaper" upgrade to those who can't afford to upgrade all at once. They are also the boards that have AGP as well in most cases. Your board, being ASUS will most certainly not have support for both, the "hybrid" boards are unstable and poorly built. _________________ Phenom II x4 955 @ Stock
