Also, does anything get power in your case?

We need more information

Maybe cuz...its a biostar? lol jk

Ok...well i didnt read the links you posted for us...but allow me to give a few thoughts before i do.

When this has happened to me in the past....it was from one (or more) of a few issues.

1. Either your CPU or Mobo was DOA.
Solution? RMA the offender.

2. Your mobo's bios needs to be updated since they only offer that chips compatibility AFTER they released the board...so, the bios was the old version, and doesnt recognize the chip without a flash.
Solution: Flash Bios.

3. You bent a pin on the chip.
Solution: Find which one is bent, and carefully bend it back.

Just a few thoughts....ill see what else i can dig up for ya....

AND WELCOME TO TWEAKNEWS!!!

I think what my prob is that i bought all the processors from ebay and got scammed they probably went to some liquidation site and bought salvage processors and are scamming the heck out of people to get money. what stinks is that while messing with their junk i killed 2 good processors i had which were amd duron 1200 mhz and a 1300 mhz and now im stuck using a spare computer till i get the duron 1800 mhz processor i ordered from newegg for like 38 bucks well i hope everyone will take my story as a lesson. be careful buying processors from ebay.
