cant find my new DVD

I just installed a new DVD buner and it does not show up in My Computer.
Its a liteon 16x DVDR model SHW-1635S

Any help would be great.

Hm..........well, a little more info would be good. I mean, right now, I can't tell if you installed it in your computer or your toaster.

What are the specs of your rig, how many drives do you have, is it installed as master or slave..........does the BIOS recognize the drive or not, that sorta thing.
