Well I have no clue how to build a computer but I feel like trying. Now I can spend up to 2,000 and I would like a nice gaming pc (Basicly the best I can make up to 2 grand.)

Now I have no clue what I would need and also I don't know how to do this. I'm willing to do tons of reading or whatever it takes so plz if you know any sites that would help me..just list em.

ok, well first. I would wait until the new series of intel chips come out and video cards that support DX10...

second, there isnt much to building a computer, just be patient and take things slowly, and if you have an old computer, maybe play with that, disassemble\reassemble it (if your going to spend 2,000 better to mess up a cheap computer than waste that kind of money trying to build one....)

youve hit the rite site man, Like he said above^^^ rip apart an old computer just to see how things plug together and try to put it back together. Start your reading on this site, there is useful information all over site and i believe a guide or two written especially for first timers. The hardest thing when picking out a computer is making shure all the parts are going to work together use newegg.com to find parts that you like and then use the pricegrabber link on tweaknews to check prices. The actual putting together is very easy. It takes more time to pick out the pieces.
