So how stable is your system?

I just rebooted mine after 16 days and 7 hours because of a network setting change, but she was still running like a champ.

there isn't an option for what we need. The only reboots Bunni's, Mine and the PVR do, are the ones for software installs or updates. The DX's at home only get shutdown when I need to use the outlets in the garage. Other than that they run 24/7. The DX at the office never gets shut off. Oh and that good ole dual PIII runs 24/7 too. D2OL keeps all these machines up and going

Mine never gets shut down, either, just restarts for software updates, and the occasional safe-mode virus scan. Other than that, she runs 24/7.

It is you and those like you who should answer "I don't even have a power button"....which was supposed to mean that the system is never turned off.

Tobasco, Windows XP PRO SP2 :-D ...and she's ALWAYS at 100% load w/ 2 nodes of D2OL running!

Try the term "soft on." Very Happy

I have a couple d2ol boxes that haven't even been rebooted since the January windows update. Think Hmmm Think maybe I should update again.

Now that I am having some electrical work done at the house we shouldn't have to shut any of the machines off. That is unless the main 200 amp breaker pops again.

oh if it were MY house I would be spending the 10-15k to get some solar panels up there. And actually the electric bills aren't that bad.
The electrician came out yesterday and ran two 20 amp circuits into the loft area to help support the computer gaming area. YAY no more worries of popping a breaker!! He also informed us that about the only reason a 200 amp main wil pop is if there is a surge in the incoming power, so we have no worries there with the power we are using.
