Have a look at the News page, there's four different reviews posted about that card.

When I saw that they were planning on offering that card, I almost, almost tried to dig another month or so out of my limping 9600 Pro, but I really couldn't justify the cost. You're right, for somebody that has a kick-ass AGP rig, it's worth it, but if you're an AMD guy with a Socket 939 AGP mobo (first gen, of course), it'd only be another $100 to upgrade to a new mobo and a PCIe 7800GS card.

Whartever..........post some benchies!!!

I notice something odd about this card when its cold. For the past few days in Houston, its been kinda chilly.. And checking the temps right when xp starts it shows 32c-34c. When I pop in a game like BF2 or NFS Most Wanted, fps is very
low. Like 5 or 10 fps. After it warms up a bit (38c-46c), it goes back to 49-58 fps on NFS. Wonder why that is? Any thoughts guys? Think

If I had to guess, the chip is heating up faster than your WC block can dissipate the added heat, so it takes it a sec for the water to cycle...........it could also be a driver issue.

As you all see, I changed the HSF to a water block. For the hell of it, I took it back off and cleaned the core with actone. Before hand I notice that on one of the resitors there was a litlle bit of AS5. So thats when I cleand the core and the rest of the chip around the core....Reseated the WB and presto! All is well. I just hope this was the prob all along. Then with installing a new driver, Forceware 83.90, NFS Mostwanted runs really smooth. Hell even the shadows dont look so blocky.

Nice card, nice hardware. My last mobo was an IC7

Does the water cooling scare you at all? It scares the heck out of me. I'd be afraid of springing a leak

springing a leak isn't all that bad. you just have to know how to handle them is all.

Glad you got it figured out there Nox. And just in case you ever need to clean the TIM from your video card again, I have found that electrical contact cleaner works wonderfully.
