|
|
Hi
Im from the UK and im looking for speakers (pref 5.1) for my pc to listen to music and some game playing.Ive bought a m-audio Revo 5.1 card.I have a budget of around £300 ($500).Im looking for excellent sound quality and must have to have the power to fill a med. sized room.So far ive looked at the Logitech z5500 and the m-audio lx4 5.1.I thought maybe the z5500 were best suited for games and the lx4 for music (maybe not enough output tho). Can anyone recommend any other systems?
Thanks in advance

You actually hit it right on the head. I would suggest the M-Audios for what you're looking for. Don't worry about the power rating, the more important factor is the speaker efficiency. I have the LX4 2.1 setup, and they get every bit as loud as the Logitechs..............ask my neighbors.
How big is the room? If it's 20x20 or less, the LX-4's will be more than fine. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

The room size is perfect, you'll be really happy with the LX's. Check here for a review I did on mine...........

I only have the 2.1 system, but that's all I need. I might add the surrounds later on, if I actually get into mixing surround material. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
