MS released the public beta of IE 7, and me being me, I just had to give it a try...........I can always fall back on FireFox if it's crappy.
So far, though, it's pretty sweet. The interface is very clean. Almost too clean......I'm used to having all sorts of useless buttons cluttering up the toolbar, those have all been removed, or shrunk down to a mini-toolbar size. Tabbed browsing is brainlessly easy.........click on the box next to an open tab, boom! New tab opened. It's also marginally faster than IE 6, which is a good thing.
The only problems I've spotted so far is some wierdness displaying some webpages. Some Flash buttons don't show, the SWG forums don't display the toolbar above the reply box (like TN's here), but those are known issues, and being worked on. For those sites, I just use FireFox.
Been using it for a few days now, and so far, so good. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

IE7 is pretty nice from what I can see. I like how clean it it and it has more of a Windows XP feel to it. It is also a little quicker. Haven't seen any page errors yet so I am continuing to test it out. _________________ P4 3.2ghz

No page errors, just some graphical wierdness on a very few pages. Yahoo's Mail login page has the graphics overlapping the text, and a couple of forums based off Lithium software don't display properly.
It also seems to have random problems with VibrantMedia ad software............ _________________ Big enough to scare you |

Sounds like a must try! I'll let some other people try it first. Hopefully they minimize the number of exploits in 7 _________________ JayDubya aka JW Jay JD ^> ﺵ |
