Well I got myself a iPod photo 40gb the other day for only $45 because the poor kid didnt know the batteries were replaceable, and well $20bucks later I have pretty much a great condition iPod. Problem is, there are images stuck on there. I can do a great restore and bring this iPod to a factory reset and clearing, but the images on the iPod are just amazing anime photos, that I myself would hate to see wasted. I have been searching everywhere for a program that can open and render the files, but to no avail, the file extension when looked up using cknow.com shows me the program to use, but unfortunately it is only availiable using Mac OS X. Which of coarse leaves me blind sided as I have a Windows PC. Since Apple doesnt make iPhoto for windows, is there anyway to retrieve these files using a program that I obviously cant find? Thanks for any help in the matter fellas.

The only programs for Windows that I'm aware of pull music back off, not sure if they do photos or not.

You could try that one, not sure if it'll do photos though. Can you plug the iPod in, and navigate it through My Computer, like a portable drive? There should be a "storage" folder or similar where the photos are stored. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

hehe like I said, it was set up on a mac so the file system is different. I do have soft mac installed on my computer to try my version of OS 8 on my PC. If I can get it to work, then I can hopefully pull the photos off and then save them. Other than that. I dont see what I can do. _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???
