|
|
Hey guys, I've got a problem with my 'puter. I just put this machine together last month.. and just recently I started having problems with my speakers. I figured that the speakers were old, and it was time for me to get new ones. I ran out and got some new speakers with a woofer.. and I seem to be having the same problem. So I think it's the board??
Here's the deal. I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium, socket 939 with AMD Athlon 3700. The sound driver I downloaded for it comes in the form of a program that starts up everytime I plug something new into the jack, Realtek Sound Manager. The problem I'm having is.. my right speaker doesn't work at all. When I run a sound check, the speakers are reversed (so on the sound check, my LEFT speaker doesn't make a sound). The program says that something is not connected properly, but I've triple-checked all the connections outside of the case. Do I need to open up my case and tweak something inside?? I don't know why I would.. I mean, it was working fine after I first installed the driver.
Help!! |

I would uninstall the driver and then install the newest version available. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

What speakers did you get, and how are they hooked up, i.e. optical, analog, surround sound, 2.1 channel.............all of this could make a difference. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
