| I went from a 3.2 northwood to a 2.8 Ghz Presler. The dual core advantage is nice. I do believe that I can now multi task a bit smoother. I dont seem to nitice any speed loss over my old 3.2Ghz. It is running between 38C and 50C under heavy load. That is not bad. This is with the Artic cooler 7 Pro . It is still air cool incase you do not know what cooler that is. Over all it is very stable and I am really please. I wish that the speed step would have been included. I just ordered myself the 930 so I will be upgradeing to that here shortly. I am currently useing the Asus premium 955 chipset board. I will upgrade to intel's 975 chipset mobo. |

That is a very ncie set-up superj. I have heard some very good things about the 9xx series and how they overclock. I can't wait to see how yours does. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

I believe the biggest improvement was changing one 5 to a 7, which was a smart move. Everybody knows 6 has problems. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

One major one is cross-fire support. _________________ .

better memory controller
Crossfire support (maybe SLI in the future)
(most boards) 8-phase power circuitry
over all a more refined platform for the Intel chips. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!
