The chipset cooler on my DFI board was very loud and didn't do a very good job of cooling the chipset. Load temps would approach 60C (within spec, but too hot for me). Found this Koolance CHC-35-D06 block designed for the voltage regulator on a 7800GTX. Costs around $30 US. Bent up a bracket out of stainless strap and got some nylon hardware and this is what I came up with. Good clearance for the 7800GT and MUCH lower temps and noise. Load temps never rise over 4C above idle. Case temps dropped a few degrees as well.

very nice. There are very few blocks out there for that purpose. That was very good thinking. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!
