old school dilema

yeah, I am temporarily stumped on the system that I was building for D2OL. It is an AMD 650MHz slot processor with an unknown board manufacturer. Strangely, it doesn't make any beep noise on boot, nor does it output any video. This is with no drives installed and only the board, memory, processor, and video. Any ideas? If I knew the brand and/or make, I could look for some translation of the jumpers and perhaps find a solution there...but I just don't know.

Slot A............man, so many of those. No beep leads me to believe it's either a bad proc or board.

agreed, but i have run into some boards that dont do anything on post anyway.....

...but yes, if youre not geting bios, i would venture to say proc or board.....can you test video somewhere?

I tested the video card(s) which I was using and found them to be 100%. Unfortunately, I have no way to test the board or processor.

Maybe I'll sell it all in the FOR SALE thread..... Confused

have you tried without the memory installed? that can cause the same symptoms.
