I understand that some of you are away for the holidays just please get it cranked back up when you return to work/school.
Even if all of these people did just 50 a day that would come out to 800 a day. And I know that there are people that can do alot more than that everyday. So let's get some team spirit going here and start posting some big numbers for TN!

Weazle, I am having some memory errors, minor, and I am working to sort them out. I dont want to start giving in wrong candidates.

SOS, good to know you are still thinking about this though :)
the memory is throwing errors in memtest? what voltage are you running it at? and timings?

well, I always get 1 error on the random section. I am running at 2.8V at 2.5,3,2,5 at 904 FSB. then I get the "memory can't be read" errors in windows.

I am on winter break and I am working on it right now, should be up by tomorrow night.

you may have to loosen the timings a little at those speeds or you would have to feed it more voltage (depending on memory chips).

I got a newer version of memtest and upped the voltage .1 and it seems to be ok now. You'll see some more numbers tonight after prime 95 runs through torture once or twice

P.P. It will be good to see output from you again. It's been a long time my friend.

Phrozen, good to hear man. That 4000+ should do pretty good. I just built a system based on that same cpu for my boss' son. It seemed to be a fast machine. I was so temped to put a "borg" install on it and let it go. I still may talk him into starting D2OL. But he is a worrier and doesn't like "taking chances".

Maybe I can convince my boss that I need to build a dual opteron server for the office.

Thanks for the update guys! Now let's have some fun with this!

I'm down to part time at the moment, one node is dead, one is M.I.A and another is on it's last legs until I reinstall windows (when I eventually find my install CDs ), until then I can only run what I have left.

I will have a new system soon, i just hve to see what parts I can I can get hold of (not a lot of choice at the local computer shop).

i'll be back as soon as i finish all my restructuring, (network, systems and other stuff)
my big dually will not be returning as it hindered it's other functions too much (i was crunching one on each core)
my laptop will be sporadic as my girlfriend constantly steals it for her own evil plans.
If anyone knows how to get a mac crunching let me know, i tried on my O/C'ed mac mini, and it just did nothing.

Thank you all for the replies and the updates on your situations.

SS, I can't wait to see your new system up and going.

meobius, it is sad to hear that the DC won't be back but glad to have the rest of what you have to offer. About the mac I am not sure what to do with it. I am not a mac user and haven't even touched one in about 12 years or so.

im hoping to have a node up in a few days time. I need a new graphics card for my main rig. Thats all the storm messed up. I also have a question that perhaps someone can answer. Our school network admin told me that he cant install d2ol on the comps after looking it over because the only file it is available in is a .exe. He said that this means that we would have to manually install it on every computer. Is there some script or group policy we could use to install it on all of the computers at once, and then, make it like a single node so it would be easier to manage????

there is a way to make an image of it so all you do is install that and it would be all set ready to go. I will talk to Fitz about doing some kind of installer or something for TweakNews. I know that XS has an installer that puts D2OL as a service so it doesn't show like what the standard installer does. So we will have to get it investigated and set something up.

yes for right now I think we are sticking with D2OL. We are in touch with the project admins to try and get some info on how the project is going. But for this we will have to wait and see.

I am going to be firing up the DX systems tonight so watch the stats.

Just curious as its past 12-31-05.

yes that would be me.
Speaking of good number I have noticed yours are looking good last few days as well. You should list what you are using in the Inventory thread.

yeah I brought a few of my old favorite nodes back over. It looks like I brought back the same amount (or close to it) that I took away from here when I left.
And yeah pie is going to be hard to get today. Well it's slim pickings on normal days hehe
