Order processing through Newegg as we speak........

Sapphire Radeon X800GT 256mb AGP card, $169.00, FedEx Next Day Saver shipping, $26.00.

With any luck (and knowing how fast Newegg processes orders) I should have it in my sweaty little paws tomorrow after work. Good thing, too, my 9600 Pro will barely run anything 3D, I have to underclock the memory by 50% to even get a game to load.

Let the eager waiting commence............and with luck, FedEx will get here before I have to leave at 2:30pm....................

Nah, I missed the Rush Order deadline by a couple of hours. That has to be in by noon PST. If they follow my last couple of orders, it'll be packed and shipped by about 8pm EST.

Yes, I know they have the X800 GTO for $193, but I had to stay under $200, and I need it faster than next Friday. The price difference was the shipping cost. Besides, if the job holds, I'll be building a whole new rig in 6-8 months anyway, and this one will either go to my mom, or get used as a server.

Ok, some prelim testing done.

VRAM is running at 565mhz (1130mhz effective!!) and the core is at 554mhz. Core temp is 50C under load..........not bad at all.

I'll have an Aquamark score in a little bit.
