Can you guys recommend a really good fan/heat sink combo for an Athlon XP 3200? It needs to be dependable and solid. I'd like it to be something that'll keep my CPU cool for gaming and normal computer. Basically a combo tha tI can put in and not worry about it not keeping my stuff cool.
Either that or I could use the fan/heat sink off my 2600+ that died on the first day... lol. _________________ AMD Athlon XP 3200+, ATI Radeon 9800pro, Antec True Power 430W, Abit NF7-S 2.0 motherboard, Soundblaster Audigy 2, Windows XP |

r87s is correct thermalright is a very good choice.
Another one that is very good is the Thermaltake Big Typhoon. I know you can get that one locally at Fry's Electronics. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!

Ive got a Athlon XP 3000+ Barton and ive been looking for a HSF my self. I found this one http://pcmoddingmy.com/content.php?review.120 but if your after a more aggressive solution im sure the other 2 would do a much better job.
Personaly id go for the Thermaltake Big Typhoon but my motherboard hasnt got any holes to support those HSF's |
