Trying to get RAID to work......and I forgot how, I think.
I've reformatted my compy about 4 times and never had a problem. Now when I went into the raid setup and deleted and then created a new raid 0 array and I try to install windows, it won't recognize my drive. I press f6 and then windows installation asks me if I want to install the ICHR7 or the ICHR6 software. It didn't do this before when I reformatted. I choose ICHR7 and then when I get to the screen right before the format screen there are only two partitions there which are storage drives and I don't want windows on them. It's not recognizing my computer and I don't know why. I have everything setup correctly in the BIos and when I press f4 to get into the raid bios I get a message saying device not detected. but in the raid setup screen it shows both drives and that they as one raid 0 drive are bootable. I don't understand why the drives are not being detected. I am not overclocking.
Should I try to install a floppy with an older version of the raid acceleration drivers instead of the newest ones and update them later?
I feel so dumb since I've done this many times.
Thanks in advance

Well...............go to Abit's site, and download the correct drivers.

You have an 875P/ ICH5 chipset.
