silencer 4 fan problem

hi all!

i have problem for my silencer 4....

i install it my gpu about 4-5 month ago and now its start noise alot.

noise coming fan and its terrible and looks that its dont cooler my gpu core anymore,not enough anyway,bcoz few times my pc reboot when i play hard games.

well,i heard or i remembe read somewhere that silencer 4 power wire for fan is not good that it must take outside of card,not sure that.

also,what is that 2nd plug for ati 800xt pe power connector right side (looking card back,4 pin if i remembe)?

do any1 know this issue? plz help?

idle temp is 48 degrees,i think its quite high?! and load temp go about 80 or over.

i planning to mount it (silencer 4) again my gpu,and i use 1st time Arctic Silver 5.

i need know sure how much and where i put that greese?

also i squuze that stuff for memory place also.

do you not have an auxillary power connector on the back of the vid card? IF SO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THAT connected.

That gives the card extra juice that the socket cant provide. I had the same issue with my 9800 PRO. Just connected the power and performance came right back.

also what is your PSU rated at,

my power is enough 480w antec

erh,what you mean auxillary power connector? sure i have connect that 4 pin molex,but,there is right of it 4 pin some different connector,dunno what that is?

i see that my silencer fan moving little bit we i twist it and make noise when i rolling it my finger,lol

btw,suddenly,few minutes ago,its stop noising and are now quite silence...??

hmm, do i must buy new silencer 4....i heard that there is rev. 2 of it.dunno if i have rev1? looks same to me copper plate with alu front that.

p.s. anyway,i change soon nvidia 7800 its better than ati gpu now,

example,when i open taskbar prosecces ,there is 2-3 a some weird atis proggy runing,dont like it.
