What a kind employer. That's perhaps the ugliest monitor on earth...but perfect for crunching numbers!

What are the specs on those systems?

Here's my lone system hard at work doing...well...everything.

P4 550 (3.4GHz)
512 Dual Channel Corsair Value Select DDR2 533
MSI GeForce 6600 256MB PCIe
WD 36GB SATA Raptor 10000RPM
2x Maxtor 80 GB PATA
Maxtor 60GB PATA
Maxtor PCI IDE Controler
3Com Ethernet Adapter
Fortron 500W PSU

Here's an image of TH's setup:

Yeah I know I am a little behind on this, but here at long last the pics of our crunching team.

first off we have the "gaming area"

This consists of: (from left to right)
bottom left- Bunni's P4 3.0ghz watercooled
top left - my dual core beast (the silver colored case)
middle- Fitz's gaming rig P4 3.4EE in the koolance lian-li case
right - AlGore's gaming rig P4 2.4C

gratuitous frontal shot of the "beast"

And now the "farm"

here you can see the black on the left that currently houses a P4 but will be giving up it home for one of the xeon systems.
the other systems are as follows:
From the left again
This is the one that Sally will recognize. The Dual P3 1000
P2 350
P2 450
P4 1.5 (this one is being adopted out by the end of the week to serve life as a recording and mixing device)

Last but not least the PVR and the messy area I call the HomeTheater

P4 3.0ghz

So there you have the small tour of our D2OL machines. Let the comments begin :hides:

[comment="sarcasm"] Yep, I see being tied down to family has really crimped your lifestyle. [/comment]

Don't you mean once a week?
Or do you mean "once" which is eleven in spanish.
Yeah...eleven times a month is about right.

those are just pictures of where the computers are located in the house. The HT is at the opposite end of the loft area the the four computers are in. And the small farm is in the spare bedroom. But soon the farm is going to be moved downstairs to the Techroom/Den.

Got to have the N64 out for Killer Instinct Gold. One of my favorite all time games. Damn my thumb hurts just thinking about it.

that x2 should be good for about 320-340 a day and will be a good addition to the team. Meobius, you are going to be hard to catch when I get back to the team! Should make for a good challenge. Very Happy
