Its that time of the year folks! Open windows at nights can bring temps DOWN!
Here's a look how we're doing! Bear in mind that this is 100% CPU usage and has been running non stop D2OL since its last reboot (over 11 days ago).
Take a look at that PSU fan speed. Its a thermally controled 120mm in my Fortron 500w PSU.
This is my VANTEC HD cooler. It has 2 thermal sensors. The 27C reading is on my WD Raptor (directly within the cooler) and is running ICE cold. The other 3 drives has a sensor thermally taped between them and are on a light simmer at 41C. I should also note that all fans within the case are Vantec Stealth series (1 120mm, 2 80mm's, 1 60mm) and stock Intel P4 550 cooler.
The front of the case is COLD to touch. The rear (PSU and CPU neighborhood) are luke-warm. _________________ |¤|
Here's a link to a nice simple program that lets you know when your processor is throttling. Kinda nice to have so you know, especially when pushing the thermal limits.

it's still too warm here to be able to do that.
Supposedly the high today is going to be 103f. But the nights are starting to cool off a little getting down to a chilly 70 degrees.
Keep up the crunching! _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!
