When you all test you systems for 24 Hrs do you do the torture Blended test ? or another one.
Reason i am asking is that abit just came out with a new bios update and now my tempatures are almost 10'c better. So i', thinking i may try a little higher O'C. I thought with 5 fans my tempature should have been lower when i first got it. Now it idles a @ 29-30 ( before 38-41) and under load @39-41 ( before 50-52). So i am thinking i can go a little higher. ( and yes when i actualy touch the heatsink it is not hot.. its barley warm)
Just wondering what prime test you all use? I think i should try blended but not sure.

right off the top of my head I cant remember the actual name, but its the one that says maximum heat.
What is your ambient temp? unless you have your room at 17c or so I dont think you would get that low on air. It would even be hard to do on water.
I dont know what it is with Abit and their screwy temp readings. I have come to the conclusion that (with me IC-7 and IC-7 MAX3) that they tend to read closer to the actual temp rather than the Asus, MSI, and Gigabyte motherboards do. On one of the Gigabyte boards I am running a 2.4C for MBM5 it reads high 30c under load. But the thermal probe that I have inserted in the heatsink tells me its about 10-12 degrees higher than that. And from my understanding the silicon will be hotter than what the heatsink will be.
Bottom line is monitoring programs LIE! If you want closer to accurate readings get a thermal probe installed on your various components that you want to monitor. _________________ I tweaked and it tweaked back! So I Tweaked some more!
