finally.. I find a store that sells many kinds of monitor speakers.. Then, I take my time to compare these speakers : m-audio BX5, LX4 and last the krk PR5.. All sounds pretty nice, but that RP5 sounds really nice on my ears. Sorry, I can't write the full review now, but in the end, I bought a pair of KRK RP5 for 295 USD and I'm very happy about it.. (The price may sounds a bit high, but if you include the shipping cost to singapore, it'll be pretty good price though)

FnF, what do you thought of that KRK RP5 ? just to hear others opinion about it..

@fussnfeathers

"Wattage isn't always a determining factor, the efficiency and design of the speakers is. Take a look at all the stupid-high powerered amps available that sound like cheese, big super-powerful speakers that sound like mush......a good set of lower powered speakers will not only sound better, but get as loud dB-wise as a higher powered set. My LX-4's are only 15w a channel, 45w for the sub, but they get just as loud as Logi's Z680's on the dB meter. "

Hi
Were the specs different on the older LX4?
On their website the sub is 60w and the speakers 27w. Or are you talking RMS power?
Thanks
John

The website's correct.........I dunno what I was drinking when I posted that.

60 for sub, 27 per sat is the correct rating, RMS.

Explorer, I've never heard the KRK stuff, so I can't comment. Togglehead's your man for that..............since I got out of the music retail biz, I don't get to play with as much cool stuff anymore.
