I saw that one (verrrrrrrry slowly.......), along with a few others, and I have to say, AMD seems to be spanking Intel pretty soundly on this one. In all tests but a few, the X2 comes out on top.

If I were Intel, I'd be worried.....except for the Mac thing. They'll absorb any losses there, and probably was a good indicator of why they took that on.

intel has the money and the power to make something better but Netburst is holding them back, they need to throw it out the window and come up with something new.

Interesting, but does anyone know where I can find some comparisons between the dual cores and some dual proc setups?

Wow... I was surprised to see how well the Pentium-M performed in the tests. For using the least wattage and running slower and only being one core, it held its own. If intel were to create a dual core Pentium-M, with HT and get the speed up a little, it would deffinately be close to the X2 or better. Not bad for a laptop chip. Intel really needs to do something right now.
