I am about to buy this case, I was just wondering what everybody thinks of it. I love the psu that it comes with, all the fans, and all the room inside. I am just interested in what other people think of it. Thanks _________________ VaLUnTriAn |

I just got one of these case over the weekend ($245CDN), and it's definitely worth every penny. It's a beautiful peice of work. It'll be the last case you evr buy. Now just to but a window in it. argh. _________________ Antec 1080AMG| MSI KT3-Ultra-ARU| AMD 1800XP| 256MB| Asus GF2MX| MSI32x12x40| Pioneer A03S| Maxtor ATA133 20GB| Daytek 719BF |

Yes, I will get a kit, i just hate to cut the case though, it's brand new, and looks too good. I have a blue cathode light for it when it's ready.
If any one who owns this thing could tell me about the blue plastic thing behind the bottom fan is that would be nice. _________________ Antec 1080AMG| MSI KT3-Ultra-ARU| AMD 1800XP| 256MB| Asus GF2MX| MSI32x12x40| Pioneer A03S| Maxtor ATA133 20GB| Daytek 719BF |

ok, by the blue fan holder in the front of the case, beside it is a 4 or 5 inch blue plastic thing. it's between the fan and the right side of the case (looking at it from the front). so. if you're looking at the inside after removing the door, you'll see the blue fan holder in front, at the bottom, and just beyond that is a blue thing which extends past the blue fan holder. _________________ Antec 1080AMG| MSI KT3-Ultra-ARU| AMD 1800XP| 256MB| Asus GF2MX| MSI32x12x40| Pioneer A03S| Maxtor ATA133 20GB| Daytek 719BF |

| you are talking about the "card guide". it's for pci cards that are extremely long, even tho i don't know of any card being currently made that are anywhere near that big. i call it the "find a clever way to use this to keep cords out of the way" or just remove it. |

| I love my 1080 case but have found 2 minor problems. The front USB port has popped out (actually pushed back) twice now requiring removal of the front panel. To remove the front panel requires releasing 6 tabs, 5 of which are easily found on the sides of the case once the side panels are removed. The problem is the middle tab on the right side of the case is covered by the motherboard tray and is impossible to reach.... almost :-) I took one of the PCI case cover slot thingies and flattened it out so that the old screw slot is now used to grab the release tab. It'll side right in and grab the tab so the front panel can be removed. Once the panel is off just epoxy the USB/fireiwre board back in place. |
