what is the code for the BSOD?
and it may not be a bad idea to run Memtest86 just to verify that the memory isnt having troubles.

Yeah thats when it happens. I jacked the RAM volts to 2.8 and re-sat the her vid card. Its a Radieon 9250 PCI....Not PCI-E, but PCI. Every now and then i get a "sorry blah blah win has to end firefox blah blah....." but then i reopen it and everything is ok. I dont know what happend but it doesnt do it anymore.

What tripps me out is that little PCI card runs NEED FOR SPEED UNDERGROUND at full detail with out hesitation at 800x600. I supper glued a very small 5volt fan to the hs and it runs better fps. Too bad that ati tool doesnt work for 9250s. Mad

did it stop having the problem after you bumped the voltage to the memory?

Noxide,
It sounds like what was going on with your system was the memory wasnt completely stable at the voltage that was being supplied to it. And if that situation is let go too long it can lead to a corrupt OS install.
I had that same issue happen not that long ago. I bumped the memory by a tenth of a volt and all is fine now.

FTR,
If you are still having the problem every once in a while, I would run memtest86 just to make sure the memory is playing nice.
