I bought this sound system at wal-mart on clearance for $50.00 US and it is great! Sound is clear and solid. But this morning i booted my pc and BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! (The speakers were powerd on prior to boot) so i shut it down and powerd the speakers down. Rebooted the PC and every thing was ok. So that means i have to have the Speakers powered off before PC boot-up. What is happenning? _________________ Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe, AM2 4600 x2, 150GB Raptor Exteme, 7900GTX in SLI Corsair XMS DDR2 CAS3, Custom DD Water Cooling |

you're saying the speekers prevented your PC from BOOTING?, that's really not possible....IS IT????
I restart my PC all the time with my speakers powered _________________ Yeah....... ok |

That's wierd. They're not a digital connection, there's no reason for them to do that......unless they're improperly wired, but even then, you'd just be out of phase.
I'd have to guess it's something else, not the speakers. One looooong beep typically indicates a video card problem, so check those connections, reseat the card, blah blah. _________________ Big enough to scare you |

I'd take them back, and exchange them. Sounds like there's something wrong in there, like a power leak to the soundcard or something. Don't keep using them!!
It's WalMart, they'll exchange them with no hassle. _________________ Big enough to scare you |
