Not bad. If the snow looks like that then sweet! 
I've seen a shot from a new racer for the new XboX, it looked really really real. Looked very nice. I'm very interested to see what the next gens are going to do. But what I find very fun are the posts on forums such as "OMG Next Gens are 1337! This is teh end of the PC  "

hehe...no matter what the consoles come up with...PC's will take over them after 6 months of them being out. The same was said when the PS2 came out

| do console people not realize how far ahead the technology for PC's are than for consoles? consoles cant have no where near the graphics quality a pc can have. okay those next gen pics look awesome, now show them pics of the Unreal 3 engine and they will s*** in their pants. |

Did you not look at the pics? Or any of the other pics out of next-gen console games? They are as good or better than any PC games out right now. HOWEVER, PCs will definitely not die...the mod community is one major reason, IMO. Consoles could potentially(I know, some do) have mod support, and if they have internet capability and a HDD, people could DL and play other's mods. But I personally think that it's MUCH easier to mod on a PC...you just have more options and better input.
The new consoles look GREAT, and have a lot of potentialeven though I hate madden/sports gamesbut there's no way PCs are going down

From the graphics point of view...consoles kind of hit there limit with the NTSC (or PAL) capabilities of the TV/monitors....HDTV capabilities have breathed new life into them. So you should see some cool new shiz.
Remember...the console game programmer can optimize to one fixed piece of hardware also...which is a major advantage.

Agreed.......consoles are much easier to program for, since they're basically a CPU and graphics card, with no other limitations. Historically, consoles have always been a step ahead of PC's, as far as graphics. However, they can't do anything else, and can only run games programmed for that console, and quite a few games ported to PC might look better, but play like crap, due to the controls.
Really, if you're a gamer, you'll have a console or three, AND a PC, neither can do the job the other can.

Agreed big time. I personally can't wait 'til I go to college next year, so I'll actually have ROOM to set up all my gaming stuff. 
I love PC games, and I love console games...some ports I find are better on the PC(stealth games, FPSs) and some are better on consoles IMO(adventures mostly, but RE4 is one of the best games I've played in the past few years). There are room for both consoles and PCs in the market because they both do so many different things.

| yes it is amazing and its gonna be used for Unreal3 and i think Ut2006 is the earliest one they will use this tech for but i could be wrong. |
