No, it's not computer related, but I really could use the cash right now, although I will take a partial trade for a few computer things. Don't hit me, Nate.....just wanted to offer this to guys here first.

Jamis Komodo Mountain Bike

Specs:

17.5" Easton Elite Taperwall aluminum tubing, 1999 model, replaced in 2002 under warranty, only 100 miles or so on the new frame.
Wheels: Hand-built by me, Sun Rhyno Lite rims, 36 spoke, 14g front, 14/15db rear, Shimano XT disk front hub, SRAM 9.0SL rear hub (cartridge bearing)
Drivetrain: SRAM 9.0SL twist shifters, 9.0SL carbon/aluminum rear derailleur, Shimano LX front
Shimano LX crankarms, XT middle and inner rings, Salsa bash guard in place of outer ring.
Shimano ES70 splined bottom bracket.
Avid Mechanical disk brakes, w/three sets of pads (two pads per set, three different compounds)
Avid Speed Dial Mag levers (some of the lightest made, no longer produced....story behind that)
Manitou X-Vert fork (X-Vert crown, X-Vert Super lowers, custom valving, fully adjustable 4.25" travel)
Time Atac Alium pedals
WTB Velociraptor tires, and a spare set of Kenda road slicks.
WTB Speed V saddle w/junk cutout
Cateye Enduro 2 computer

Total weight at last check.....26.2 pounds, w/ the Kenda's on. a touch over 27 pounds with the Velociraptors. Everything was assembled by me, nothing is "factory built", so she's a unique machine.

I hate to part with her......she's got some nicks and dings, but she runs like a scalded puppy, serious East Coast trials/racing machine.

I'm asking $700, but it's negotiable. Everything will be tuned and tweaked for the new buyer, depending on weight. Ideal rider size is 5'10" to 6'2" (I'm 6'4". but my riding style needed a smaller frame), 180 to 220 pounds as she sits, I can re-tune the fork for a lighter rider. I'll also include a Specialized Enduro Pro helmet, a CamelBak MULE hydration pack w/new bladder and bite valve, a Topeak Alien multi-tool, spoke wrenches, crankarm wrench, BB tool, and crank extractor, along with some other miscellaneous tools, and cleats for the pedals (if I can get them off the shoes......unless you're a size 12, and don't mind wearing used shoes.....ick).

The catch......there IS NO SHIPPING. Cost for shipping is over $100, although I can ship if you want. YOU pay shipping, though. I will deliver to you. I live near Waterbury CT, and I'll travel up to 4 hours one way to deliver. I'll help you set the bike up for your size/weight, but let me know your weight at purchase time, so I can tune the fork here.

Here's a pic, the fenders shown have been removed (broke in the wind on the back of my car one day........forgot to take them off), otherwise, all is as shown.

Be aware......this is a USED bike, so there's some nicks in the paint, and heel wear on the crankarms, but nothing structurally damaging. Bike is sold AS IS, with no warranty.

It's a pure, pro-level all-purpose East Coast machine, designed for tight, twisty singletrack, trials riding, and general fun. Raise the saddle, and go heckle some roadies, she'll keep up with them, if you can. I really do hate to part with her.......but with the upcoming move due to the house being sold, I need the money more.

Price is negotiable, and I am willing to trade for some limited computer gear, but I really am in need of the cash. Message me here, or email me @ fussnfeathers@gmail.com.
