I felt it was time to show my project I am working on... It's a media center built from scrap parts I had around the house. The case was orginally white ( A really quick $.99 spray paint took care of that) It's still a work in progress as you can tell.

What's a rolling total of the cost????
You think that that system can handle video capture (digital VCR functions)? _________________ |¤

that looks like a sweet setup, I was planning on doing this myself too and i am curious, does media center also record tv? or just play it back?
* if it can record would you just use a tv tuner or like a video card with vivo?

Actually, me thinks that case uses standard size expansion cards. Me thinks it kicks it old school and uses a riser card
(I saw it this weekend... ) _________________ |¤

Media center will record live tv, it works just like a TIVO. So you can set it just like a VCR. |

yep its a regular ATI PCI Tuner VE. I upgraded to the pro model with the videosoap feature. Doesnt doo much though. All you gotta do is rake up the quality of the record.
Just PM me for it. Its just sitting in the pro model box. _________________ Remember When Sex was safer than racing???
