EQ II

Heh heh, sorry guys, its been FOREVER since ive had a chance to post...funny thing is, the post SUBJECT is the exact reason i havent "found time" to post...in fact tonight is the first night ive been able to check my email, talk on AIM, read new posts here, and talk to my girlfriend on the phone for more than 20 seconds...EVERQUEST II IS A DRUG...and it is NOT to be taken lightly...the only way ive been able to contain myself is by digging out my collection of VERY good Sword of Truth books, and reading every single one...it distracts me enough to take me away from my hot need to sneak up behind gnolls and shadow blade them...that, and the fact that i have not had the chance to purchase my new SOE 3 month gaming card for my next session, and my subscription has expired...I am posting this message not only to warn you, but to hopefully scare you into NOT BUYING EQ II...Im afraid its too late for me...so if in the near future i happen to "disappear" again...please, tell Smeagol, he will come to my house and bash my head in...thank you

I tried EQ2........meh. And I can even play at a discount, since I play SWG all the time. You take your trolls.......I'll keep whacking stormtroopers with my scythe blade or bowcaster (I'm a wookiee, so I rule all of you by default

It's a two month game card, btw.......just a quick correction.

Heh, yea i know EQ II isnt nearly the best MMORPG out there, not by a long shot, its just that i got hooked on it when i played the trial, and now im afraid to buy any other mmorpg thats BETTER because i spend enough time on EQ II as it is...SWG would be way to dangerous...although Guild Wars seems to be inevitable...i mean who could turn down an mmo with a one time payment, minus the expansion packs? So needless to say, looks like Alienware and SOE have gotten together to ruin my entire college career...

Oh and BTW, its NOT a TWO MONTH subscription, you can choose either 30 or 90 day...so i WAS right...just a little correction

You sure about that? I use game cards for SWG (also an SOE product), and they're 60 day cards. It's 30 days through a credit card........or however long you want to pay.

That's wierd, though, and sorta irritating. SWG is 60 day cards only, but they might change that. I'd like to be able to buy just one month, if I'm a bit broke.

Heh, yea that would piss me off too, its nice having 3 worry free months of game-time

I think i got ripped off tho...EQII is about $13 a month...I bought my gamecard for a total of i think, exactly $49.72

3 x $13 < $49.72

But SOE has their exact prices listed on the subscription page so i think im going to check them tonight...Im thinking i should have waited till school let out to use my card because i have a report and a project due next month, and if i play eqII it wont get done...
