Halo 2

ey, not sure if this technically classifies as a LAN party, but I figured if anywhere, this would be the place for this post.

I was wondering how many of you out there play Halo2 and have X-Box live. I think we should set a time and date and all go on and have some fun. Do some big team battle or something. Let me know and we will figure out a time and day.

Well I have Halo 2, but may I suggest Xlink Kai. free alternatives to Xbox live are soo much better, mostly because they are free. It simply makes the Xbox think they're are several hundred system link games available. Xbox Headsets are supported as well.

comdak... I have not been able to get Kai sucessfully working yet. But if that is the way that everyone wants to do it.. I am totally ok with that. The only thing with kai is that you are limited to 4 Xboxes right? Live you can at least have 8 people in your party.

no Kai has the same limitations as Xbox Live does too the best of my knowledge. But Im sure things can be figured out. I had no problem setting it up at all personally. Xbox into router, computer into router, open xlink kai, select game, pop halo 2 into xbox, system link, select game, go.

My friend was able to do that as well. For some reason I am having difficulties because of my wireless connection. But according the forums, I should be ok if I uninstall on my machine and install it on a machine that is hard wired into the router. Now it's just a caase of me being lazy.

Set up a time, kids! I have the sexbox, H2, and maybe Kai will work for me....didn't earlier this year...

There is a certain trick to settig it up. One check box in the configuration menu and then restart your machine adn it works. I don't kno that exact label of said checkbox, so I will have to check when I get home. Don't want to post false information.

I am definitely down for this, although I havent gotten Kai to work Xbox Connect works for me... I do also have Live.
